I think we’ve just about finished our move.

For the last five days I haven’t really stopped. I’ve been packing boxes, lifting boxes, taking apart furniture, carrying furniture, lifting boxes, assembling furniture, unpacking boxes, and all other manner of things. Yesterday we spent a whole day up in Bristol, wandering around Ikea (I bought myself a nice new desk), and doing some other shopping at Cribbs Causeway.

Last night I was up until 3am cleaning, moving boxes and putting together the Ikea stuff. I’ve never had to assemble anything from Ikea before but I really enjoyed it – there was some incredibly clever stuff. The screws that came with the trestle legs for my desk were just amazing.

We’ve just about got downstairs right (the sitting room and the kitchen). Next is the bedroom, and once that’s done I can work on my office/study.

We’re really loving it here.
